Make Communication Easy &#8211;&nbsp;Keep Your Inbox Organized<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The most fundamental task of a real estate agent&nbsp;is to seek out new clients and keep in constant touch with the old clients; this leads to having to deal with several emails everyday &#8211; outreach, follow-up, etc&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given the heavy influx of emails we receive&nbsp;every day, it becomes highly necessary to keep your inbox organized. That way you won\u2019t forget to&nbsp;reply&nbsp;a&nbsp;client&#8217;s email, and you won&#8217;t give a delayed response because you didn&#8217;t happen to notice theirs in your&nbsp;long list of daily emails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gmail Labels<\/strong>&nbsp;are one great feature which help you keep your inbox&nbsp;sorted. Every time you get an email from a client, add a label with that client\u2019s name. All the emails from this particular client will be nested together under that label, just like a folder!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using Gmail Labels&nbsp;you can easily keep track of the latest mails from each client with a visual tag, and can prioritize the response. Additionally, labels make it easy for you to refer back to these emails sometime in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Email routing allows you to direct emails to another address the moment you receive them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s an automated process &#8211; all you have to do is type in the other email address and select the type of mails you want automatically directed to them. These messages are still delivered to you, but a copy of it is also sent to the other address.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/b.realtyninja.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/teama.png\" alt=\"Email routing is another great feature on Gmail that can help you respond better to clients. Use Templates to Maintain Consistency in Your Responses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Imagine how unprofessional it would look if your email has no structure or format, and worse yet, it keeps varying from one response to another. Consciously Minimize the To&#8217;s,&nbsp;Fro&#8217;s &amp; Length of The Thread<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the biggest challenges of email is the long bulky email threads it ends up generating due to a lot of to&#8217;s and fro&#8217;s. This makes it hard to refer back to an important email or to keep track of the conversation and will end up overloading your inbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It could result in a lot of time and information loss. Here are some tips you should keep in mind:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If an email conversation goes on for more than 5 emails it may be better to pick up the phone and resolve it.<\/li><li>Use tools that have an interactive interface. For example, Hiver&#8217;s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/hiverhq.com\/tour\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Shared Notes<\/a> feature allows you to leave notes on an email &#8211; kind of like sticky notes! These notes are visible to everyone with whom you have shared it. This way every time you have a new update you don\u2019t have to send out an email &#8211; you&nbsp;can just&nbsp;leave a note.<\/li><li>Be smart about drafting an email. Double check to see if you have included all the important information required, questions you want to ask, documents you want to send etc., prior to clicking send. Many a time we forget to include something in the email and end up having to send another one.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Use Additional Tools That Integrate Well With Your Gmail<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Find tools and extensions, that will work in tandem with your Gmail, improve your mailing experience and enhance the email platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, you can use an extension like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grammarly.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Grammarly<\/a>, to make sure that your emails are well-written and grammatically correct. The tool operates right out of your inbox, pointing out mistakes with a red underline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also use tools that alert you to only specific emails (ie. from a&nbsp;top priority&nbsp;client) and not any others; this way, you can promptly respond to important prospects and customers&nbsp;without any delay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given that for a real estate agent,&nbsp;there is no better way to be prepared than by thoroughly knowing your client.
